External Audits (Surveillance/ Re-Certification/ Transition)

LRQA as per their defined schedule visits twice in a year for audit. Surveillance audits are normally carried out in the month of May and November every year.
Upon any major changes in QMS and/or transition to later version of ISO standards transition audit along-with routine surveillance audit is carried out by the LRQA.
Director-QEC check for suitability of date in which audit is conducted.
Necessary preparation and /or QMS documents are developed for compliances.
Director-QEC obtains approval of the audit dates by Vice Chancellor.
Auditor from LRQA arrives at the university on designated dates and Audit Plan is prepared mutually agreed by Director-QEC and distributed to auditees on the same day.
After completion of audit, an Audit Report developed by Director-QEC forwarded as an agenda item for upcoming BOR (UL) meeting.
Director-QEC initiates CMAR form to concerned department for corrective / mitigation actions against non-compliance. Follow-up audit conducted right after the due date to check implementation of corrective action.
