Self-Post Graduate Program Review (Self-PGPR) 2025

Self-Post Graduate Program Review (Self-PGPR) for all the programs offered in NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi was conducted on May 6th-7th ,2025. The Self-Review was conducted according to the guidelines provided by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad for the MPhil/MS and PhD programs. Prior to the visit of the team, the QEC of the University prepared the proformas designed by the QAA, HEC such as Program Review Summary, Program Proforma, faculty and scholars for Mphil/MS & PhD programs of all departments, Student Proforma and other templates. 

The Review Panel comprised of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tufail, Pro-Vice Chancellor as convener, Syed Waqar ul Hasan, Director QEC & Regulatory Affairs, Salim Habib University as Co-convener. Auditee team comprised of 
•    Dr. Muhammad Wasif, Director QEC, 
•    Dr. Faaz Ahmed Butt, Dy. Director QEC I, 
•    Mr. Shahid Safi, Deputy Registrar (Statistics) and 
•    Mr. Rao Ubaidullah Munir, Computer System Operator QEC. 

Panel physically inspected the infrastructure facilities during the visit, such as laboratories, classrooms, library. The panel also had a discussion with the faculty members, supervisors and scholars. Auditing teams include

•    Dr.Tariq Jamil, Assistant Professor (Mechanical Engineering), 
•    Mr. Iftikhar Ahmed, Deputy Registrar (Training)
•    Mr. Irfan Ali, Deputy Registrar (Acad-I). 

All administrative and academic officials were appreciated and acknowledged for their support and cooperation during the self-review. The Vice Chancellor and his team including QEC facilitated the review panel with elaborate discussion in a professional manner on the matters relating to the functioning of the University and enhancing the quality of teaching and research at postgraduate level.
