Self-Review of Master & PhD Programs 2020

NED University of Engineering & Technology conducted its Self-Review of Masters and PhD Programs held on 26th June 2020. The Review Panel (RP) comprised of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tufail, Pro-Vice Chancellor as convener, Prof. Dr. Razak Mahar, Director QEC, Shah Abdul Latif University as co-convener, Prof. Dr. Syed Amir Iqbal, Dean (MME), Prof. Dr. Mubashir Ali Siddiqui, Secretary AS&RB, Dr. Muhammad Wasif, Deputy Director QEC–I, Mr. Shahid Safi, Assistant Registrar (Statistics), Mr. Irfan Ali, Assistant Registrar (Acad)-I and Mr. Rao Ubaidullah Munir, Computer System Operator. The Facilitators consisted of Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh, Director QEC, Dr. Riaz Uddin, Deputy Director QEC–II and Syed Imtiaz Ahmed, Additional Registrar (Acad).

The visit was carried out amongst the Pandemic COVID-19 and while observing social distancing, all SOPs and other precautionary measures including wearing face masks, sanitising hands etc. Dr. Riaz Uddin, Deputy Director QEC– II, briefed the presentation and explained the status of NOC of Masters and PhD Programmes in detail. The Review Panels reviewed the available data/ documents. Prof. Dr. Razak Mahar appreciated the efforts of the NED-QEC towards assurance of quality education through institutional performance evaluation.

Finally, the Review Panels had an exit meeting with Prof. Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodi, Vice Chancellor and communicated in brief about their observations and recommendations. The Vice Chancellor thanked and appreciated the panel’s efforts in helping the University towards quality improvement. He also assured to take all necessary corrective actions once the formal reports are received.
