Self-Review of Master & PhD Programs 2021

NED University of Engineering & Technology conducted its Self-Review of Masters and PhD Programs held on 27th May 2021. The Review Panel (RP) comprised of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tufail, Pro-Vice Chancellor as convener, Prof. Dr. Razak Mahar, Director QEC, Shah Abdul Latif University as Co-convener. Auditee team comprised of Dr. Asif Sheikh, Director QEC, Dr. Faaz Ahmed Butt, Dy. Director QEC II and Mr. M. Tariq, Dy. Registrar Acad II. Auditing teams include Prof. Dr. Mubassir Ali, Secretary AS&RB, Prof. Dr. Syed Amir Iqbal, Dean MME, Prof. Dr. Usman Ali Shah, Chairperson, Department of Electronic Engineering with Dr. Muhammad Wasif, Dy. Director QEC I, Mr. Shahid Safi, Dy. Registrar Statistics and Mr. Irfan Ali, Ag. Dy. Registrar Acad I.

The visit was carried out amongst the COVID pandemic and while observing social distancing, all SOPs and other precautionary measures including wearing face masks, sanitising hands etc. Dr. Faaz Butt, Deputy Director QEC– II, briefed the presentation and explained the status of NOC of Masters and PhD Programmes in detail. The Review Panels reviewed the available data/ documents. Prof. Dr. Razak Mahar appreciated the efforts of the Quality Enhancement Cell of NED University of Engineering & Technology towards assurance of quality education through institutional performance evaluation.
Finally, the Review Panels had an exit meeting with Prof. Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodi, Vice Chancellor and communicated in brief about their observations and recommendations. The Vice Chancellor thanked and appreciated the panel’s efforts in helping the University towards quality improvement. He also assured to take all necessary corrective actions once the formal reports are received.
